# Networks

Networks represent the blockchain networks supported by Fystack. You can retrieve information about available networks, including EVM and non-EVM chains, along with their configuration details and health status.

## Supported networks

The table below lists the mainnet networks currently supported by Fystack along with their `network_code` identifier. Use the `network_code` value when referencing a network in API requests, webhooks, or SDK calls.

| Network | Network code |
| --- | --- |
| Ethereum | `ETHEREUM_MAINNET` |
| Base | `BASE_MAINNET` |
| Solana | `SOL_MAINNET` |
| Polygon | `POLYGON_MAINNET` |
| BNB Smart Chain | `BSC_MAINNET` |
| Lisk | `LISK_MAINNET` |
| Bitcoin | `BTC_MAINNET` |
| Tron | `TRON_MAINNET` |

> **Info.** Need a network that is not listed here? Reach out to the Fystack team and we can prioritize adding it.

## Network information

Each network in Fystack contains comprehensive information about the blockchain:

### Network properties

- **Chain identification**: Unique chain ID and internal code for each network
- **Network type**: Support for both EVM and non-EVM networks
- **Native currency**: The native token for each network (e.g., ETH, SOL)
- **Block explorers**: Pre-configured explorer URLs for transactions, addresses, and tokens
- **Network status**: Real-time RPC health status and availability
- **Block configuration**: Confirmation requirements and block interval timing
- **Testnet support**: Clearly identified test networks for development

---

## Get networks

**Endpoint:** `GET /networks`

This endpoint allows you to retrieve available blockchain networks. This is a public endpoint that does not require authentication.

### Parameters

- `search` (string): Filter networks by name. For example, `?search=Base` will return networks matching "Base".

### Response

- `success` (boolean): Indicates whether the request was successful.
- `message` (string): A message describing the result of the operation.
- `code` (integer): A numeric code indicating the result status (0 for success).
- `data` (array): An array of network objects.
  - `id` (string): The UUID of the network.
  - `created_at` (string): Timestamp when the network was added to the system.
  - `updated_at` (string): Timestamp of the last network configuration update.
  - `name` (string): The display name of the network.
  - `description` (string): A brief description of the network.
  - `is_evm` (boolean): Whether this is an Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible network.
  - `chain_id` (integer): The unique chain identifier for the network.
  - `native_currency` (string): The symbol of the network's native currency.
  - `is_testnet` (boolean): Whether this is a test network.
  - `internal_code` (string): Internal identifier code for the network.
  - `explorer_tx` (string): URL template for transaction explorer links. Use `%s` as placeholder for transaction hash.
  - `explorer_address` (string): URL template for address explorer links. Use `%s` as placeholder for address.
  - `explorer_token` (string): URL template for token explorer links. Use `%s` as placeholder for token address.
  - `confirmation_blocks` (integer): Number of block confirmations required to consider a transaction final.
  - `block_interval_in_seconds` (integer): Average time between blocks in seconds.
  - `disabled` (boolean): Whether the network is currently disabled.
  - `logo_url` (string): URL to the network's logo image.
  - `is_rpc_active` (boolean): Whether the RPC endpoint is currently active.
  - `rpc_health_status` (string): Current health status of the RPC endpoint. Can be `healthy`, `degraded`, or `null`.
  - `pending_block_count` (integer): Number of pending blocks being processed.

> **Info.** This endpoint is public and does not require authentication. You can use it to retrieve network information without API credentials.

## Rescan transaction

**Endpoint:** `POST /networks/rescan-transaction`

This endpoint allows you to manually trigger a rescan of a specific transaction on a network. This is useful for cases where a transaction is not indexed after a certain time due to RPC outages. You can manually trigger a rescan so the system can index the transaction.

> **Warning.** This endpoint requires a user access token and system admin permissions.

### Parameters

- `tx_hash` (string, required): The transaction hash to rescan.
- `network_id` (string, required): The UUID of the network where the transaction occurred.

### Response

- `success` (boolean): Indicates whether the rescan request was successful.
- `message` (string): A message describing the result of the operation.
- `code` (integer): A numeric code indicating the result status (0 for success).

**Request** `POST /networks/rescan-transaction`

```typescript
import { FystackSDK, Environment } from "@fystack/sdk"
const apiCredentials = {
  apiKey: process.env.API_KEY,
  apiSecret: process.env.API_SECRET
}
const sdk = new FystackSDK({
  credentials: apiCredentials,
  environment: Environment.Sandbox,
  logger: true
})
await sdk.rescanTransaction({
  txHash: 'a6ec569aa7db70433e9012eb456cd24156d33c1748825f0d868d2d4e2595cb06',
  networkId: 'c5725221-fa98-4d6c-a6ca-8c5cd65cd884'
})
```

```bash
curl -X POST https://api.fystack.io/api/v1/networks/rescan-transaction \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer your_access_token" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "tx_hash": "a6ec569aa7db70433e9012eb456cd24156d33c1748825f0d868d2d4e2595cb06",
    "network_id": "c5725221-fa98-4d6c-a6ca-8c5cd65cd884"
  }'
```

```json
{
  "success": true,
  "message": "success",
  "code": 0,
  "data": {
    "message": "Transaction block added to rescan queue successfully"
  }
}
```
